Discover CNC Automation - Oct. Open House Event

Last Tuesday, RoboJob-USA and Amper Technoligies held its October Open House event - Discover CNC automation. With over 110 attendees and 45 companies present throughout the day, our team was able to share the benefits of CNC automation with industry professionals through short presentations, an interactive machine shop tour and a live demo of a robot in action using our user-friendly software.

Our event began with a presentation on industry challenges in CNC machining, as well as the benefits of automation. This presentation was led by Jelle de Roovere, who is a business development manager for RoboJob NV, headquartered in Belgium. As the son of a CNC machine shop owner, Jelle knows all too well the struggles relevant to parts manufacturers – including JIT production, instability of demand, lack of skilled operators, and unoptimized production efficiency. As a result of enduring these struggles, Jelle’s family began their journey to automation and created RoboJob – the current market leader in CNC automation.

Following Jelle’s presentation, event attendees were invited of Fusion OEM’s machine shop. Fusion OEM is in alliance with RoboJob, creating RoboJob-USA – where American CNC machine shops can also enjoy the benefits of automation. Fusion OEM’s machine shop displayed automated mills and lathes, with machinists nearby to inform attendees of the efficiency of production and how they work together with the robots to increase production on a shop floor. Although machinists were available to answer any and all questions, attendees were provided the opportunity to volunteer and program robots themselves. This opportunity highlighted the ease of use in RoboJob’s software, with the robot programming completed in less than 5 minutes.

Overall, RoboJob-USA’s Oct. open house event was a great opportunity for cnc machine shop owners and managers to catch a glimpse into the future of manufacturing. With over 1000 installs, RoboJob has grown to be the number one cnc automation technology in a world where innovation is no longer a luxury, but a necessity.
