RoboJob-USA is incredibly excited to exhibit at the International Manufacturing Technology Shows (IMTS) in September 2022. More than 2,400 exhibitors from the manufacturing industry will display the most cutting-edge technology and products to over 129,000 attendees from all over the world.
Demographic Breakdown
Unfortunately, due to the Covid-19 pandemic, AMT did not present the International Manufacturing Technology Show in 2020. However, IMTS 2018’s demographic breakdown gives us valuable insights as to who can benefit from attending the show.
When looking at visitors by industry, the IMTS 2018 Post Show Report shows that the Metalworking, Machinery, & Equipment industry was the most popular for visitors, followed closely by Job, Tool, Mold & Die Shop, and Fabricated Metal Products. Additionally, IMTS reports the top 5 categories of interest: 1) Turning & Lathes, 2) Machining Centers, 3) Tools & Tooling, 4) Milling, Drilling, or Boring Machines, and 5) Quality, Testing, Measuring, and Vision.
IMTS released a list of the top 10 countries outside of the United States to attend the show, with attendees from Canada, Mexico, Japan, China, and India topping the list. For the year 2022, we can expect even more diversity in attendees as the number of exhibitors and registrants continue to grow.
IMTS Pavilions
At IMTS 2022, there’s something for everybody. The show separates exhibitors by pavilion that are geared toward specific industries, technologies, and solutions. These pavilions include: Abrasive Machining/Sawing/Finishing, Additive Manufacturing, Controls & CAD-CAM, Fabricating & Lasers, Gear Generation, Machine Components/Cleaning/Environmental, Quality Assurance, Tooling & Workholding Systems, and last but not least – Metal Removal.
According to the IMTS website, the Metal Removal pavilion is where you’ll find the latest innovations in metal cutting equipment, machining centers, turning centers, drilling, boring, milling, EDM, and more.
